Hans Jürgen Hein has caught our attention within seconds after we had the chance to see some of his beautiful work for the first time. Most of it unseen by others, we knew that we found a diamond. A diamond we want to share with the world.

Always taking his camera with him, Hans captures the history around him. Thousands of negatives are stored in and around his darkroom.
Hans Jürgen Hein is a passionate photographer who never thought of himself as one. He never wanted to show his work before so we are beyond grateful that he allowed us to publish an excerpt of his amazing life time achievement.

As a photographer I examine my environment as a human being.
My photos open up a path of a fading time, a transient world that I want to keep visible and perceptible.
